Description:Individual personal traits almost disappear and only the emotion, the feeling of connection. I have sought to compose the painting with very defined areas that transmit calm and at the same time the taste for the textures that give it that organic, lived-in look. The understanding narrates the moment of connection between a couple simplifying the forms and removing more and more features, removing the mouth and up to the eyes to create a moment of understanding and connection with what minimum, with the silhouette, without stopping to geometrize the volumes with a texture that gives it some warmth. As a brooch, the pink inverted triangle appears, as a symbol that refers to the language that was used to mark homosexuals in Nazi concentration camps and that later the collective appropriated.

Carlos Corredera

Carlos Corredera (La Vall d'Uixó, 1978) is an interdisciplinary author, painter, illustrator, designer, and creative based in Valencia (Spain). He studied graphic design at the "Escola d'Art I Superior de Disseny" in Castellón [he has expressed himself in posters, editorial illustration, corporate design, etc.] and painting at the Pere Ribera art school. He scripted, designed, and modeled large-volume projects for failures and bonfires, providing new solutions, and shaking up the format. He continually continues to experiment with his personal plastic work: paintings, drawings, and digital art... The human figure is almost always the thematic core. An imaginary materialized through defined lines, firm masses, and certain geometry -sometimes eroded by vintage graphic textures- that serve to illustrate emotions, sometimes reaching conceptual solutions.
