Welcome to the NAP’s World

What is a NAP?

Art is not only the final resulting work, but also the entire story behind it, from the sources of inspiration that led the artist to create it, to the sketches or previous creative processes. To add more value to both Artlovers collectors and Artists and their work, we at Cultions have created the NAP.

A NAP takes the best of the physical world and the digital world, capturing the entire creative process of an artwork, and packaging it into an NFT to ensure that collectors are acquiring something unique, valuable, and with a certificate within the blockchain.

ATTRACTION PROCESS TO THE EXHIBITION

Capturing the entire creative process of an artwork, and packaging it into an NFT.

The "behind the scenes" of art

Any audiovisual element related to the creative process of a physical artwork can potentially be a NAP.
From the most obvious as a sketch, through a video of the technique used, an audio where the artist explains her emotions, or even a 3D file used to represent the final result of a work.

The life evolution of the artwork, from the simplest sketch to almost the final result.

Art that comes to life

This type of NAP allows the work of art to transform and evolve over time.

NAP PREMISES – ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

The NAPs must be inspired by a REAL ARTWORK that is going to be exhibited, either in a gallery or studio, for later sale.

Boosting your Exhibition

This artwork must be available for sale from the end of the countdown until the day of the event, PREMIER. (After the event, the physical artwork may be sold without preferences).

The NAP as a VIP pass

The artist or gallery must plan the PREMIER prior to the official exhibition so that when the user buys a NAP they receive the invitation to the event. This action is automated in the purchase process. This event, involving the artist, occurs shortly before the exhibition’s opening. It could take place in the artist’s studio or any suitable location for the presentation and sale.

NAP CREATION PROCESS

1

Artists may create NAPs at first or add new NAPs to a collection created as long as they meet the conditions and that they will contain the digital content provided by the artist, which may be text, video, image, sound, or any content that can be digitized.
2

The NAPs of the reference physical artwork will have public information added, and private information only for the buyer. Certificate of authorship of the NAP content. Said NAP will be transferable and may contain a commission payment system.
3

There are two types of NAPs in each collection, the standard and the evolutionary:
Standard: These are NAPs that the artist freely develops based on the physical artwork or its inspiration to create it. They may be serialized.
Evolutionary:They are NAPs that evolve over time, they are not static and they change both in their content, image and text, so that the buyer has information about the creation of the physical artwork. These are unique.
4

The minimum number of NAPs in a collection will be:
1 Standard NAP, with a minimum of 9 serial units of the same NFT.
1 Evolutionary NAP, a unique NFT.
5

The number of units of each serial Standard NAP will be in the amount determined by the artist himself, with a minimum of nine units. The Artist will not be able to increase, after its sale in the Marketplace, the number of units of a "serial" NAP since it is limited.
6

The artist may include new NAPs from a previously sold collection, provided that the new NAPs are also related to the original physical artwork, provide news about the creation of that artwork, and are not the same as those created previously.
7

It is essential that artists outside of the digital archive (NAP image), complete the public and private data of both the physical artwork and the NAPs, describing the meaning of the physical artwork and also the creation process in each of the NAPs put up for sale.
8

It is very important that the artist take into account that both the NAP and its content cannot be used for any other subsequent commercialization.
9

It is important too that the artist and the gallery calculate the NAPs offered for sale in each of the collections presented for the exhibition, since the number of guests at the PREMIER must be adapted to the capacity of the premises.

ATTRACTION PROCESS TO THE EXHIBITION

1

This artwork must be available for sale from the end of the countdown until the day of the event, PREMIER. (After the event, the physical artwork may be sold without preferences).
2

The artist or gallery must plan the PREMIER prior to the official exhibition so that when the user buys a NAP they receive the invitation to the event. This action is automated in the purchase process. (This event may be held days or hours before the official opening of the exhibition and should have the participation of the artist. In the case of doing it directly by an artist, a visit to his studio or any place that the artist considers appropriate to make the presentation and sale).

SALE-RESALE AND COMMISSIONS

1

Purchases of NAPs will be made with a credit or debit card; they will be made through the Stripe payment gateway or platform that replaces it, for this purpose any user who wants to make a sale of a NAP must have an account on said payment platform that is used by CULTIONS.
2

The Artist will pay CULTIONS a commission of 15% of the sale price for the transmission of each NAP. CULTIONS will send you an invoice justifying the commission with the Value Added Tax included.
3

The remainder of the net sale price will go to the Artist.
When the Reseller sells the NAP, he must pay the Artist a commission of 10% of the sale price, and CULTIONS or the artist Gallery a commission of 5%, all with their corresponding taxes. These payments will be made automatically when it is transmitted on the CULTIONS platform and manages the payment gateway.

NAP SALE PROCESS

1

The NAPs uploaded in “New Collections” will have a countdown of 7 days.
After that period, they will go to the "Marketplace" for sale and the terms agreed with the artist and gallery must be detailed, the terms for holding the event and official exhibition. A period of 7 days is suggested if there is no official exhibition date.
2

Once the NAP is sold and collected by the Artist and Cultions, the NFT will be minted and transferred to the buyer within a period not exceeding 48 hours.
3

The purchase of NAPs gives the buyer a preferential option to buy the physical artwork of his NAP on the day of the PREMIER (event).
